We're so excited to have you at our quarterly sewing bee!
We will be sewing roughly 600 items for our local Raleigh community gardens over the Sunday December 6th afternoon for local holiday deliveries on Friday December 11th in 2-hour shifts/full afternoon. If you live near one of the community gardens and would be willing to drop off a box of sewn goods on Friday afternoon, let us know.
The 6 styles will be:
Kangaroo Harvest Aprons
Grow Bags
Harvest Bags
Bucket Hats
Knee Pads
Gardening Sleeves
Kits are pre-cut in stacks with tech packs and finished samples provided. All items will be donated free of charge to our local Raleigh garden centers. You are welcome to use one of the industrial machines in the shop or bring your own sewing machine from home depending on what you want. We also have assistant positions available if you would like to help out ironing, folding, and boxing finished items to give out Friday, December 11th. If you do not have sewing experience that's still awesome, we will need the help doing simple assembly too. Snacks and drinks will be provided. May you be blessed and have a great week!
