Walking through life is an adventure. We had a week of heavy storms and rain, but everything pulled through in one piece. Sometimes you try one thing, stumble, and something else works so keep getting up. Mercy is so important. Plus the mushrooms are digging the rain. Wish knew which ones are edible. Just look at scifi and fantasy books and live music concerts having a great year while not hearing a peep out of the supposed summer spiderman blockbuster. Don’t know if Raleigh is just a pocket, but a month of walking around and living, no kid or adult has mentioned Spiderman: Brand New Day, not even a random costume at GalaxyCon. Supposedly 10% of the population went to see it opening weekend or something. Wonder where? People here appear busy with other things, especially music.
Take Haus Page, hourly production, kits, and classes are more popular than alterations. Will leave the alteration prices up in the shop, you can still purchase them, but want to focus on Blessing Sewing Kits from successful prior classes so people can do them at home their way. The most popular of course is the Shema Leather Bracelet. Perfect for someone starting out learning to draw the Hebrew language as it’s 4 lines. The other big request is to split up and make available our week-long beginner industrial sewing class from the ol’Techshop days on Zoom.
Hopefully people will respond positively to the kits and purchase a few for themselves, friends, and family. Or take one of the college classes online at a more budget friendly pricepoint. Have a great week staying dry and may something good come on your path for you.
