Sometimes a movie is not what you were expecting. Heartbreakingly so. As someone who enjoyed British 90s period romance films like Emma, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Jane Eyre, thought Wuthering Heights was a love story tragedy like Romeo and Juliet. Given the release of the Epstein files, what we actually got looked more like a stop incest/pedophilia of drunk father’s sleeping with daughters that used to run on the tv at the same time in Latin American countries rewritten to make incest cool not nasty. Huge shock to everyone who came in costume in theater and was expecting a Valentine’s Day love story. For those of you who may have missed the Spanish ads, a father living alone with his daughter(s) in the rural countryside gets his daughter pregnant, then attempts to pass of the resulting offspring as something other than incest. Daughter subjected to incest falls in love with her own son and repeats tragedy by committing incest with him. The weird Kubrick Eyes Wide Shut bit about Catherine naming Heathcliff after her dead brother after he “mysteriously” appears under her bed, but can’t talk after her father goes out on a drunk bender and the maids all talk about locking their doors? No thanks. It’s not a new story, the Old Testament is full of suicide death incest cults with Isis, Osirus, and Horus of the Egyptians, etc. But every society that engaged in widespread abuse of it’s children, especially rape, torture, incest, and eating them, has failed.

Which brings us to today’s uncomfortable topic of the Epstein files since creepy art seems to be imitating creepy life. Last year Walter and Matt on American This Week did a story about a society that runs and to function a small girl must be abused in a box repeatedly. The story asks if it’s ok.

AKA the Angel of Death. Two years ago, didn’t believe in God or the Devil, society seems to be on a crash course to both lately. Myself included. Not going to close eyes to it. I had 2 close Catholic family members who were abused as small children and not going to go along with normalizing it. Went through all that shit coming out back in the 90s.

Next step will be making some changes as getting better educated. The files are dense. Having lived through 3 stock market crashes, the threat of it crashing is nothing to fear.
